Freiherr-vom-Stein-Str. 15, 63329 Egelsbach (for the satnav, but please note that you won't reach this address at race day due to road closures). See "Parking" below for options.

If you come with public transport, use the S3 from Darmstadt or Frankfurt and leave the train at Egelsbach railway station. From there you need to walk about 1 km. Go Bahnstraße > Heidelberger Straße > Heinestraße, there is the stadium.

If you come by bike look at the markers to "Sportplatz", be careful when crossing closed roads. There is a bike parking area in the stadium.

Parking

Use one of the following parking areas in Egelsbach:

Running courses
  • Marathon (1 small and 2 large laps)
  • Half marathon (1 large lap)
  • 10 kilometer race (1 small lap)
  • 5 kilometer race with walking (new!)

The course is mainly in the forest on good forest tracks (no single trails) and a bit hilly (about 100 m of climbing per 10 km).

Number pickup  
  • Saturday, 24th: 3 to 6 p.m., in the REWE-Center (neu!), Kurt-Schumacher-Ring 4
  • Sunday, 25th: 6.30 a.m. until 1 hour before your start, in the large white tent in the stadium
Pasta party Saturday, 24th: 3 to 6 p.m., in the REWE-Center, Kurt-Schumacher-Ring 4 (together with number pickup and late registration)
Start and finish SGE stadium, Egelsbach (see above at "Adress / Orientation")
Starting times
  • 8 a.m.: Marathon
  • 9.40 a.m.: Half marathon
  • 10 a.m.: 10 km
  • 10.10 a.m.: 5 km incl. walking
Closing time
2 p.m.
Marathon runners need to enter the final lap at km 24 within 3:25 h. If you still want to run after this, it's at your own risk.

Permission
  • The event is permitted by the HLV and follows the international race rules.
  • The Marathon, half marathon and 10 km courses are officially measured by DLV.

Terms and conditions
  • DLV road runners: Members of athletic clubs or departments who are DLV members.
  • Fun runners ("Volksläufer"): Members of other clubs and groups or runners withour club membership.
Notes
  • You need to carry the number in a visible way in front, on the upper body.
  • Non-official escorting is not allowed (neither running or cycling).

  • The time is measured by a transponder that is integrated into the number (net and gross time).
Results Will be published after the race on our website.
Age groups
Men and women from M20 to M80 and older/ W20 to W80 and older, 5-year-steps from M/W30.
Standings Overall leaders marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, age groups.
Award ceremonies
  • 5 and 10 km: From about 12 a.m., half marathon and marathon: From about 1 p.m..
  • Prices for the three best ones in the overall standings and the first ones in the age groups. Extra prices for course records.
  • All prices need to be picked up in person, they won't be sent on.

With the registration to the Koberstädter Wald-Marathon, the participant accepts the non-liability for any damages related to the event. The host, the sponsors, the municipality of Egelsbach and the owners of private grounds are not liable for damages and injuries of any kind that could occur during participation of the event. This includes accidents and losses of clothes or other items. Particularly, the host is not liable for health risks of the participants related to the event.

If the host changes or cancels the event due to acts of nature beyond control or regulatory orders, no claims whatsoever can be derived therefrom against the host.
